We are a traditional Catholic classical school. Our mission is to form students spiritually, while instilling in them a deep sense of inquiry about the world around us as well as a great love for our Catholic faith.
The classical model structures our Prek-3 through 8th Grade learning process to reflect childhood development, each stage laying the foundation for the next stage. The Grammar Stage occurs through the 2nd Grade and focuses on age-level enjoyment of and strengths in learning facts, memorization and recitations. The second stage is the Upper Grammar Stage, continuing through 5th Grade, in which students begin to discuss cause and effect, and engage in independent projects and model making. Then begins the Logic Stage in 6th Grade when students are ready for abstract thoughts, forming thesis statements, analyzing texts and relating diverse fields of knowledge to see the logical framework of God's design. A classical high school will take students into the next stage, which is the Rhetoric Stage, in which students further develop oral expression. A classically trained student is thus able to think clearly, argue rationally and believe deeply in God, whose very existence can be proved through logic. Our Catholic Classical Approach extends further to elucidate the goodness, beauty and truth of our faith, passed on through Salvation History in the person of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Our curriculum includes Religion, Grammar, Latin, Spanish, Literature, History, Nature Studies and Math, as well as Physical Education, Art and Music.
