Mr. Ian Williamson

6th-8th Grade Literature and Grammar

Mr. Ian Williamson is a graduate from Berea College with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science. He began working in education in 2023 here at Cathedral School of Saint Mary as our Middle School Literature and Grammar teacher. He most enjoys literature class discussions in which student begin to identify with and analyze the characters, bouncing good ideas and insights off of each other, while delving into the deeper meaning of the plot. He is grateful for the opportunity to teach in a Catholic school, where he can openly share his faith with his students and encourage them to draw closer to the God Who draws ever near to us each day. Mr. Williamson is the second oldest of six children, and he loves reading poetry, listening to music, and watching great films.
