The Cathedral School of Saint Mary Advisory Board recommends policies to the principal and rector for their consideration. The Board works closely with the school principal to identify the needs of the school and ways to meet those needs. The Board updates the Strategic Plan and formulates goals that are recommended to the principal. The rector and principal view all school advisory board recommendations prior to implementation. The Board is not responsible for the administration of the school. Since the Board authority derives from the rector, the rector can veto any Board recommendation.
