Dear CSSM Families,
The community of the Cathedral of Saint Mary is always supportive of our efforts during Fall Festival and this year was no exception. For the past three months, countless hours of planning have taken place. The hard work and tireless efforts paid-off. I want to extend a sincere "thank you" to all of you who worked so hard to make the 2013 Fall Festival a great day of celebration and a financial success.
It was amazing to witness our community as we rallied together to meet our goal for raffle sales and to exceed it by $2,542. The campaign for raffle ticket sales kicked off on September 30th. On Tuesday, October 22, only six days before Fall Fest, we had only reached $1,750 in ticket sales. As all the students began to rally together to reach our goal, they enthusiastically sold $9,592 in six days to reach a final total of $11,342 in ticket sales. Thank you to all of our sellers, those who contributed to the prices, and the many generous donors who purchased tickets.
Raffle ticket sales were not our only success last week. Forty-four generous people provided the Silent Auction with beautiful items that generated $3,065. The various fun games and entertainment booths generated $3,083.50 and the delicious smells keeps us all eating for a total of $3,359.50.
Prayer and Best Wishes,
Mr. Robert J. LeGros, M.S.A.
