What changed and Why?
If it has been more than 3 years since you've last taken the Ethics and Integrity workshop, it is time to take the workshop again.
In the effort to protect our children, the Diocese of Austin mandates that all individuals who have contact with our children must be in compliance with the Ethics and Integrity in Ministry Policy, which equips each of us with the tools and knowledge to protect our children from possible abuse and perpetrators. Many of you have already completed this process and are incompliance; however, those who have not and new families MUST complete this process to be able to chaperone class parties, field trips and lunches, etc.
This procedure is a two step process: 1) complete the volunteer application, “eAppsDB”, located at www.austindiocese.org, 2) attend the Ethics and Integrity workshop.
