Students design and create the yearbook using an on-line program from Josten’s Yearbooks with help and guidance from the advisor and the yearbook company field representative.
Students are encouraged to attend “yearbook meetings” in the fall and spring to become familiar with the process, particularly if they are interested in leadership roles in the club.
There are many jobs, large and small, and everyone is encouraged to contribute to the yearbook. Tasks include organizing the book and assigning pages, taking pictures of students, clubs and events, uploading pictures to the website, creating pages, cover design, transition page design, record keeping, proof reading, typing, publicity and more. Most work takes place after school and students are welcome to participate in the yearbook in addition to their other activities.
Tributes and Support
Parents and friends of Cathedral School of Saint Mary are welcome to purchase recognition and business advertisements to support a special student or noteworthy event. Tributes are a great way to commemorate student achievements, important milestones, and support our community.
