Being involved in athletic activities at Cathedral School of St. Mary is an honor and a privilege. ATHLETES are LEADERS and MODELS of our school community and the Saint. Mary Cathedral Faith Community. We expect their behavior and attitude to be exemplary and demonstrate respect of others. We expect the athletes to cooperate with authorities at all time.
Our philosophy is to provide students an opportunity to participate in a competitive environment where committment, good sportmanship, and teamwork are present. Our program strives to develop skills, strategies, and the enjoyment of sports, so that our athletes will seek out physical activity as a way of life.
After-school competitive athletic programs are offered for boys and girls (5th - 8th grade). Passing grades are required for participation.
The following sports may be available for student participation - volleyball, flag football, basketball, co-ed soccer, track, tennis, golf, and cheerleading. We adhere to the no-pass, no-play rule.
